1. Overview
All products sold by Embio Diagnostics are covered by a two-year legal warranty under European Union and Cyprus consumer law, starting from the date of delivery.
This Warranty Policy describes your rights and our obligations regarding repair, replacement, or refund for defective products.
This warranty applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not affect them.
2. Warranty Coverage
(a) What Is Covered
The warranty covers manufacturing defects or material faults that:
- Cause the product to fail under normal use, or
- Prevent it from functioning as described in the user manual or on our website.
Examples:
- Device fails to power on despite correct use
- Display, sensor, or component malfunction caused by a production error
- Structural or internal failure not due to misuse or external factors
3. Warranty Period
- Duration: 24 months (2 years) from the date of delivery
- Applies to all products purchased directly from www.airbeld.com or from authorized distributors
- If a repair or replacement occurs during the warranty period, the original warranty period continues from the original purchase date (it does not restart).
4. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Improper installation, misuse, or neglect
- Exposure to liquids, extreme temperatures, or physical shock
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or calibration attempts
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., sensor drift or battery degradation)
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration)
- Software or firmware issues caused by third-party interference
- Loss of data or damages resulting from incorrect use
⚠️ Important:
Environmental monitoring devices (like air-quality sensors) naturally experience sensor drift over time.
Such gradual changes are expected and not considered a manufacturing defect.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
If your product appears defective during the warranty period:
- Contact us first at contact@airbeld.com
- Provide your order number, product model, serial number, and a description (with photos or videos if possible).
- We will assess your claim and may ask for additional information.
- If approved, we'll provide instructions for return shipment to our service or testing centre.
After inspection, we will offer one of the following remedies (in order of priority):
- Repair the defective product,
- Replace it with a new or equivalent item, or
- Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.
All shipping instructions will be confirmed by email.
Do not return products without prior authorization, as this may delay processing.
6. Warranty Shipping Costs
If the defect is confirmed to be covered by warranty: Embio Diagnostics will cover return shipping and reshipment costs.
If the defect is not covered (e.g., damage due to misuse): The customer may be responsible for shipping and inspection costs.
7. Products Purchased from Authorized Resellers
If you purchased your Embio Diagnostics product from an authorized reseller or distributor: The warranty is still valid, but your first point of contact should be that reseller.
We may require proof of purchase from the reseller to verify warranty eligibility.
8. Proof of Purchase
Warranty service requires a valid proof of purchase, such as:
- Order confirmation email or invoice from www.contact@airbeld.com or
- Receipt from an authorized reseller showing purchase date and product details.
Keep your proof of purchase for the entire warranty period.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Embio Diagnostics is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as loss of profits, data, or business interruption) resulting from product failure.
- Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights under EU or Cyprus law.
